About Us:
This island community is accessible by sea and air. Located 680 miles northwest of Seattle, on Alaska's fabled Inside Passage waterway, Ketchikan is a popular destination for cruise travelers, sport fishers, adventurers and anyone ready to take a break from everyday life to experience a unique way of living. Here in the heart of the Tongass, the country's largest national forest, there's plenty of beautiful country to explore. The magnificent 2.2 million acre Misty Fjords National Monument lies just 22 air miles east of Ketchikan.

Summer temperatures range from 51 to 75 degrees Fahrenheit and from 29 to 47 degrees Fahrenheit in the winter. Ketchikan averages 162 inches of precipitation annually, including 32 inches of snowfall.
